ABOUT ME
Originally from Maribel, Wisconsin which is nestled between Green Bay and Wisconsin's East Coast (Lake Michigan). Shockingly, I have worked extensively on a dairy farm. Starting work at a young age, I learned the importance of determination and dedication to your work- which translates to my practice and passion for performance.
When not playing music, I continue working with my hands in the crafting of leather and woodworking. Hit me up if you need a guitar strap or a bookcase!
EXPERIENCE
I graduated from University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, majoring in jazz performance. There I studied with Karyn Quinn, and was lucky enough to buy her incredible 1930 Otto Rubner. It's the main upright I take on my gigs around Nashville.

During college, I played with various touring bands, playing reggae, funk and jazz. I've played Joe's Pub in Manhattan, along with various midwestern music festivals. Having exposure to such diverse styles of music really has helped me adapt to any musical challenge.
In 2019, I relocated to Nashville, TN and shortly after that toured the high seas with Rolling Stone Magazine. Recently, playing upright with 3 Time Grammy Award Winner Bill Miller at The Cavern Sessions featured on PBS, Bill and I have been working together since my days in La Crosse, WI.

Since relocating, I work and record with singer/songwriters in Nashville, helping them craft and structure their songs. I'm known for thinking fast on my feet. I'm truly focused on uplifting the band and the song. It's really about bringing everyone along!

I have 20 years of teaching private bass lessons, everyone from young kids to adults! Whether you want to learn upright or electric, I can help you find how to bridge the gap between all musical styles with bass.
